Elon Musk Stokes Twitter Vs Instagram Battle; Netizens Pick Winner

San Fransisco: Elon Musk set Twitter on fire on Monday by claiming that Meta’s Instagram makes its users depressed while his microblogging site makes people angry.

“Instagram makes people depressed & Twitter makes people angry. Which is better?” he asked.

Musk’s remark sparked a flood of responses on the most popular sites.

A follower commented that LinkedIn, which is owned by Microsoft, rather than Instagram, is the real cause of people’s depression. Musk responded with a fire emoji.

Another user claimed that Twitter “makes me chuckle all day long,” rather than making him upset.

The Twitter CEO replied that he does “laugh a lot on Twitter”.

Twitter, according to another user, is less about becoming angry and more about marvelling at the “irrational screeching and tantrums of politicians and zombie users infected by the woke mind virus.”

Twitter has just introduced a new incentive to sceptic advertisers in the midst of the battle to survive, where the micro-blogging site will match marketers’ ad expenditure up to $250,000.

The business is fighting to win back advertisers who stopped using its platform after Musk took charge and made a number of divisive announcements.
