Israel Claims Weapons, Terror Infra Found in Al Shifa Hospital, Hamas Denies

Israeli troops claimed to have found terror infrastructure including weapons within the Al Shifa hospital in the Gaza Strip. But Hamas rubbished the claim saying, “It is nothing but a continuation of the lies and cheap propaganda, through which (Israel) is trying to give justification for its crime aimed at destroying the health sector in Gaza.”

To convince its claim, Israel released videos on Monday and Tuesday from inside Gaza’s main children’s hospital showing what it said were weapons and explosives found there, and a room where, the military said, hostages had been kept.

Meanwhile, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan termed Israel as a “terror state” committing war crimes and violating international law in Gaza. He also criticized the West for supporting Israel. His statement came two days before a planned visit to Germany to meet Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
