Journalist & Activist Josh Kruger Shot 7 Times in US, Dies

Josh Kruger, a Philadelphia-based journalist and activist in the US, was shot dead inside his home on Monday morning, reported the New York Times. He was shot seven times in the chest and abdomen.

The assassin has not been identified and arrested.

Kruger covered various issues like LGBTQ+ rights, homelessness, HIV, and addiction in publications like The Philadelphia Citizen and The Philadelphia Inquirer. He described himself as a “destroyer of stigma and bureaucratic silos” and a “believer in the common good”.
