Pak Minister “Welcomed” With “Chor-Chor” Chants In The US

Washington: Pakistani Finance Minister Ishaq Dar was reportedly heckled at the Washington airport in the US upon landing.

The Pakistani minister is apparently in the States to attend a slew of meetings.

In a video being widely circulated on various social media platforms, the minister was seen being heckled and called a “liar” and, “chor” or a “thief”.

In the viral video, an angry protestor can be seen arguing with Dar and his staff members. However, the reason behind the altercation is unclear. The angry protestor was hurling abuses left, right, and centre at the minister, following which, his aides were seen retaliating.

“You are a liar,” Dar hit back at the person who was directing abuses at him. “Moth**r f**ker…I’ll f**k you right here, don’t try and be a smart a**,” a member of Dar’s entourage was heard saying. All of this was caught on camera and the video soon went viral.

Notably, this is not the first time a Pakistani minister has been bombarded with insults in public during overseas visits.

A similar incident was reported earlier when Pakistan Information minister Marriyum Aurangzeb was misbehaved by some people said to be supporters of former Pak PM Imran Khan’s party.
