Pakistan Minister Shazia Marri Threatens India With Nuclear War

Islamabad: Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari’s remark against India at UNSC and the Indian government’s retaliation have triggered a political slugfest on both sides.

A day after India launched a no-holds-barred attack on Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal, Pakistan minister Shazia Marri has now threatened India with “nuclear war.”

In a news conference on Saturday, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Shazia Marri said, “Pakistan knows how to answer. India should not forget that Pakistan has an atomic bomb. Our nuclear status is not meant to remain silent. We will not back down if the need arises.”

Pakistan Minister Shazia Marri threatened India, saying the “country will not sit back if it is slapped. Pakistan will respond with equal intensity.”

Attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Marri said, “India’s PM is only spreading hatred in the country. Hinduism and Hindutva have risen under the Modi government.”

She also called S Jaishankar’s comments at the UN “propaganda” saying that “India is linking Muslims with terrorism.”

Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari responded to External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar’s “Hosting Osama Bin Laden” comment at the UN Security Council on Friday.

“I want to tell India that Osama bin Laden is dead, but the butcher of Gujarat lives and he is the Prime Minister of India,” Pakistan Foreign Minister Bhutto said.

“He (PM Modi) was banned from entering this country until he became the Prime Minister. This is the Prime Minister of the RSS and the Foreign Minister of the RSS. What is the RSS? The RSS takes inspiration from Hitler’s ‘SS’,” the Pak Minister added.
