Punjab Youth Murdered in Manila, Capital of Philippines

Chandigarh: A youth named Jagdish Singh from Punjab was reportedly murdered in Manila, the capital city of the Philippines. The deceased hailed from Bhandal Buta village, near Nurmahal in Punjab, reported The Tribune. The news of his death reached his relatives on Sunday.

Singh had been living in Manila for the past many years. A few months back, he visited his village and returned to the Philippines two months ago.

As per reports, Singh’s body was found one week after his murder. He is survived by his widow and three daughters.

The bereaved family is trying to get back Singh’s body from Manila for his last rites.
