Imran’s supporters gathered in front of the Army headquarters and pelted stones at it before entering the premises and vandalising it. This was for the first time that the Army headquarters was assaulted.
Khan has been connected to more than a hundred cases since departing office as prime minister in a no-confidence vote in April of the previous year. He believes that the US-led conspiracy was aimed at him because of his independent foreign policy decisions regarding Russia, China, and Afghanistan.
