What is the nature of Maa Kushmanda?

Maa Kushmanda has eight arms, hence she is also called Ashtabhuja. Her seven hands have a manual, bow, arrow, lotus flower, nectar-filled urn, chakra, and mace. At the same time, in the eighth hand, there is a chanting rosary giving all the siddhis and funds. Mother Kushmanda is very fond of the sacrifice of Kumhada and in Sanskrit, Kumhada is called Kushmanda. That is why this form of Maa Durga is called Kushmanda.

Worship method of Maa Kushmanda

On the fourth day of Navratri, after taking bath in the morning, bow to Mata Kushmanda. With this request, offer water flowers to Maa Kushmanda and meditate on thinking about her. It is said that if someone is sick for a long time, then worshiping Maa Kushmanda according to the law provides good health to that person.

During the worship, offer flowers, incense, scent, and blog to the goddess with all your heart. On the fourth day of Navratri, Goddess should be offered Malpua. After worship, offer Malpua to Maa Kushmanda. After this, donate the prasad to a Brahmin. In the end, after bowing to the elders, distribute the prasad and accept the prasad yourself.
