Aate ka Halwa: Easiest and Simplest Sweet Dish to Make

Diwali is in a few days and everyone is preparing various sweet dishes for the occasion. Here is a simple recipe to make healthy and yummy sweets. The ingredients used in Aate ka Halwa are really fewer.

Ingredients:

  1. Aata (Flour) (1 cup)
  2. Ghee (1 cup)
  3. Sugar (1 cup)
  4. Water (3 cups)
  5. Cardamom powder (1/4 tablespoon)

Process:

Take a pan (Kadhai) and put it on the stove. Now pour 1 cup of ghee into it. Then pour 1 cup of wheat flour into it. Keep the flame at a medium level. Keep stiring the flour and ghee till the wheat flour turns a little brown and the scent of ghee starts coming from it. After the flour turns brown add sugar to it. Now add lukewarm water to the mixture and continuously keep stiring it. Once the water gets dried, the halwa is ready. Add cardamom powder to garnish.
