It is very easy to plant Parijat flower (Night Jasmine) with many other flowers

Fragmented flowered Parijat is also known as Harsingar or Queen of the Night. In Hindu beliefs, it is also called a plant that came from heaven. Its fragrance is very much liked and it is also used in traditional medicine.

Parijat flowers bloom at night and fall on the ground in the morning. That is, if you have this plant in your house and you need flowers in the morning, then you will not have to break them. People put a cloth under the Parijat tree at night, so that all the flowers fall in that cloth and then collects these flowers for use in the morning.  People use it in many disease including cold, fever, etc. The best part is that this plant is easy to plant and develops well without much care. It just needs good sunlight. It can also be planted from seed and cuttings, but according to people, the easiest way is to bring a mother plant from nursery.

Although it is best to plant it directly on the ground, it will soon become a big tree. But if there is not much space, you can also plant it in a 15 to 20 inch pot.  For this prepare a potting mix by mixing equal amounts of sail, sand and compost (any organic manure). Choose a place to plant the plant, which gets four hours of sunlight a day. It needs a good amount of sunlight. Avoid giving it too much water, but keep watering regularly. This plant doesn’t require much fertilizer to grow. If you want the plant to be dense, keep cutting from time to time.

It will be easy to plant it from seed also during the monsoon season. But if you do not have to wait long, then it would be better to buy its small plant. So if you do not have a Parijat tree in your garden, then what are you waiting for, this monsoon, definitely plant a Parijat tree in your house.
