Gaya: In a shocking turn of events, a one-year-old boy in Gaya district has survived a deadly encounter with a snake. The child, playing on his terrace, mistook a snake for a toy and bit it to death.
The child’s mother recounted the terrifying ordeal, explaining how her son had picked up the snake without realising its nature. As soon as the family discovered the dead reptile near the boy, they rushed him to the local community health center.
A viral video captured the aftermath of the incident, showing the boy being examined by medical staff.
Fortunately, the health centre staff determined that the child was physically unharmed. They explained that the snake was a non-venomous species commonly found during the monsoon season.
The incident, which occurred a month after a similar case was reported in the state, has left doctors and the family bewildered.
