Bus Stop Stolen in Bengaluru a Week After Installation!

Bengaluru: A bus stop’s complete steel structure, worth Rs 10 lakh was stolen a week after its installation, in Bengaluru.

This bus shelter on Cunningham Road was managed by the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC).

The Bengaluru police registered a theft case regarding this stolen bus stop after an associate vice-president of a company responsible for construction of BMTC bus shelters in Bengaluru filed a complaint on September 30. This complaint was lodged around a month after the bus stop vanished.

Earlier in March, a three-decade-old bus stand at the HRBR Layout disappeared overnight.
