Hyderabad Man Drives Car Into Lake With 3 Children to End Life, Saved by Locals

Hyderabad: A man tried to end his life along with his three children by driving his car into the Inamguda Lake under Abdullapurmet police station limits on the outskirts of Hyderabad on Wednesday.

Luckily, the locals present at the spot ran to rescue them. All four of them were pulled out of the sinking car.

The car was being driven by Ashok, a resident of BN Reddy Nagar in Hyderabad, who works as a contractor. He took his son and two daughters for a morning outing in the car. After reaching the lake, he drove the car into the water.

Initially, locals thought it to be an accident. However, initial police investigation Ashok wanted to commit suicide alsong with his children because of financial problems.

Police have registered a case and have started further investigation.
