14-Yr-Old Boy Detained for Threatening to Blow Up Ayodhya Ram Temple

Lucknow: A 14-year-old boy was detained by the police in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday for reportedly threatening to blow up the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

It was found that the boy hailing from the Kushinagar district was undergoing treatment for an intellectual disability. He lived with his grandmother, who has also been detained by the police.

The boy allegedly phoned the police emergency number ‘112’ on Tuesday night and threatened to blow up the Ayodhya Ram Temple with a bomb. He also uploaded similar messages on his social media accounts.

The Cyber Cell of UP police traced the caller’s location to Balua Takiya, a village under Patherwa police station limits in Kushinagar, and detained the youngster for investigation.
