2 Passengers Arrested In Patna For Drinking Alcohol On Flight

Patna: Two men were arrested by police for allegedly carrying alcohol onto an Indigo flight from Delhi to Patna and drinking it. The incident was reported on Delhi-Patna Indigo flight 6E-6383.

The two intoxicated passengers were arrested, and the airport Station House Officer (SHO) confirmed their arrest.

Despite claims that the inebriated men got into a fight with the cabin crew, people with knowledge of the situation claim that the incident happened on Monday at around 8:44 AM.

They said that despite having alcohol on board and consuming it, the passengers did not cause any disturbance.

When the staff told them that it wasn’t permitted, they expressed regret and stopped drinking, they added.

As per protocol, the cabin crew informed security officials about the situation upon arrival.

The CISF took them into custody and later handed them over to the airport police.
