25 Students Injured As 4 School Buses Collide In Delhi

Four school buses and other cars collided, injuring about 29 people, including 25 children near the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Delhi, on Monday morning.

According to a senior police officer, police teams arrived at the scene after IP Estate police station received a report from the Police Control Room (PCR) about an accident at the Salimgarh flyover at around 10.57 AM.

On the spot, four buses, one auto, one car and one bike were found in an accidental condition.

“Upon initial investigation, it was discovered that all four school buses included 216 students. In this accident, some 25 students, three members of the faculty, and one member of the public were hurt” the official added.

“All injured were admitted to LNJP Hospital by the PCR vans. The injured are receiving medical attention at the LNJP hospital, and appropriate legal action is being taken” the representative noted.
