4 Dead, 7 Critical As Bus Falls Off Bridge in Maharashtra

Mumbai: Four persons lost their lives and seven others were seriously injured when the bus on which they were travelling fell off a bridge over a ‘nullah’ near Semadoh village on the Paratwada-Dharni road in Maharashtra’s Amravati district on Monday morning.

Out of the 45 passengers in the bus, four died, while seven were seriously injured. Twenty other passengers suffered minor injuries.

The ill-fated private bus was travelling from Amravati to Dharni when it fell off from the bridge into a deep ditch at Semadoh, when the driver lost control over the vehicle.
