The incident, which occurred on a recent Sunday night, was captured on video by an alert autorickshaw driver. The footage shows the massive reptile navigating the wet roads as vehicles, including the filming autorickshaw, cautiously follow with headlights illuminating the scene.
Wildlife experts believe the crocodile may have wandered into town from nearby water bodies, possibly the Shiv or Vashishti rivers. The sighting has raised concerns about human-wildlife interactions in the region.
As the video circulates widely on social media platforms, local authorities are urging residents to remain vigilant and report any further sightings to ensure public safety.
