Airport Official in Woman’s Attire Found Dead In Airport in Uttarakhand

Dehradun: An official of the Pantnagar Airport was found hanging dressed in a woman’s attire in his room inside the airport premises in Uttarakhand.

The deceased, Ashish Chausali, was wearing a ‘bindi’ and lipstick while he was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his room on Monday.

It appeared to be a case of suicide. But no suicide note was found at the spot.

Chausali is reported to have had dinner with a friend and a relative before retiring to his room on Sunday night. As he did not open his room on Monday morning, it had to be forced open. He was rushed to a hospital where he was declared dead. Chausali served as assistant manager (air traffic control) at the airport. His wife is a school teacher in Pithoragarh. The couple has a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter. Police are examining Chausali’s mobile phone details for investigation.
