Bihar Politics: Twitter War Erupts Between Tejashwi Yadav & BJP Union Min Giriraj Singh

Patna: As Bihar’s political situation took a new turn, former state ally BJP and now major party in the state are seen trading barbs.

On Friday, netizens witnessed a Twitter war between Bihar deputy CM Tejaswi Yadav and Union Minister Giriraj Singh on the issue of Tejashwi’s poll promise of providing 10 lakh government jobs to the youths of the state.

Union minister Giriraj Singh on Thursday posted an edited version of a video where Tejashwi Yadav talked about the promises he made as chief ministerial candidate during the 2020 Assembly elections. Begusarai MP took potshots at the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader for climbing down from his poll promise.

Taking a jibe at Tejaswi, Giriraj Singh quoted him, “I will fulfill the promise of providing 10 lakh jobs, if I become the chief minister, right now I am the deputy chief minister.”

Tejashwi Yadav hit back at Giriraj Singh and shared a video of his full reply and replied, “Sir, don’t be so shameless. Having a one-foot-long braid does not make one knowledgeable. These poor guys have no face in Bihar. Listen to this full video.”

However, after the RJD leader hit back at him with a “one-foot-long braid” jibe, the BJP leader retaliated with a “chara chor ka beta” swipe.

“Fodder thief’s son will not become a Mahatma. He will again steal soil from the zoo to use in their mall. Again, paltu chacha Nitish Kumar will sack the entire Lalu family on charges of corruption” Giriraj Singh tweeted.

In another tweet, Giriraj Singh slammed Tejashwi for the “one-foot-long braid” remark and said, “Top leaders of the secular government of Bihar have started attacking the Hindu symbols like Tika and Shikha”.
