Cop Caught Red-Handed with Female Inspector In Agra, Thrashed by Wife and Mob

Agra: UP police authorities suspended six police officers in Agra on Saturday for not intervening during an assault on two police inspectors.

The two police inspectors were assaulted due to a marital dispute when a male inspector was caught at a female inspector’s house by his wife.

According to reports, both these police inspectors posted in different districts used to take leaves to visit each other, sources said.

The male inspector’s wife reached the female inspector’s house in Agra, along with her relatives, while both inspectors were together inside.

When they refused to come out, the wife and her relatives broke the door and started assaulting them. The male inspector’s wife alleged that her husband had come to Agra to be with his lover.

A video of the incident, which has gone viral on social media, showed a mob assaulting and tearing the clothes of the male inspector.

Following the incident, Agra’s Police Commissioner has suspended six police officers, including two sub-inspectors, for allegedly filming the event instead of intervening to stop the assault.
