ED Attaches Properties Worth Rs 300 Crore In Delhi, Noida In Cheating Case

New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) attached properties worth nearly Rs 300 crore in a cheating case. The attached properties included unsold shops and spaces at Noida’s Great India Place Mall, a chunk of commercial space in Rohini of Delhi and leasehold rights over land in Jaipur.

The ED took this action following complaints filed by the Gurugram Police against International Recreation and Amusement Ltd. and its partners for cheating. They allegedly collected over Rs 400 Crore from around 1500 investors, through false promises to provide homes and shops.

The ED suspects that the money was diverted to other companies and individuals for personal gain. It is alleged that the company bosses avoided paying back investors.
