Female Student Of NIT Patna Found Hanging In Hostel

Patna: A female student of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna was found hanging inside her hostel room on the campus located in Bihta on the outskirts of Patna.

The deceased student was from Andhra Pradesh. She was found hanging from the ceiling fan of her hostel room. Police recovered a suicide note near the body.

The exact reason behind her drastic step has not yet been ascertained.

As the news of the student’s death spread, a large number of students of the institute demonstrated outside the campus shouting slogans against the institute’s administration.
