Madhya Pradesh Cyber Police Files FIR Against BJP Spokesperson for Alleged Forgery

Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Cyber Police has filed an FIR against BJP spokesperson Hitesh Vajpayee for sharing a falsified resignation letter from Congress Rajya Sabha member Digvijaya Singh on social media.

The complaint was lodged by the Congress party, alleging that Vajpayee disseminated a fraudulent letter bearing Singh’s forged signature. The purported letter, addressed to Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, alleges the sale of Congress seats and claims Singh’s resignation from all Congress posts.

Preliminary investigations by the police have revealed that Singh’s letterhead was indeed forged. Singh has expressed his commitment to the Congress and dismissed BJP leaders as liars. He has also written to the MP Director General of Police, urging stringent action in the matter.
