Harassed for Property by Children, Elderly Couple End Life in Rajasthan

Jaipur: An elderly couple died by “suicide” at their house in Rajasthan’s Nagaur alleging harassment by their children over property.

The bodies of the couple were found in a water tank of the house on Thursday. The deceased couple also left a suicide note pasted on the walls of the house. In the suicide note, the couple alleged that they were being harassed by their sons and daughters-in-law over property.

When no movement was seen in the house for two days, the neighbours informed about it to the son of the couple. The son called the Police station.

Police found their bodies inside a water tank. Post-mortem will be done. There was a suicide note pasted on the wall and according to it, the elderly couple ended their life because of family dispute.
