HDFC Bank’s Profit Swells By 18.5% Year Over Year to Rs 12259 Cr

Chennai: According to a regulatory filing, HDFC Bank ended the third quarter of FY23 with a net profit of roughly Rs 12,259 crore.

For the quarter that concluded on December 31, 2022, HDFC Bank reported a net profit of roughly Rs 12,259 crore, up from Rs 10,342 crore in the same quarter the year before.

The bank’s overall revenue for the reviewed period was about Rs 51,207 crore, up from approximately Rs 40,651 crore for Q3FY22.

Net non-performing assets (NPA) for the bank were Rs 5,024 crore as of December 31, 2022, up from Rs 4,676 crore for the same time the previous year.

For the quarter that ended on December 31, 2022, the provisions were approximately Rs 2,806 crore, down from approximately Rs 2,993 crore in the comparable quarter in 2021.
