Indigenously Built Vande Bharat Hydrogen Trains Likely To Roll in India By Dec 2023

New Delhi: Vande Metro hydrogen trains are being produced by Indian Railways to replace the outdated trains from the 1950s and 1960s.

The first hydrogen train to be developed and designed entirely domestically will debut in December 2023, according to Union Minister for Railways & Communications Ashwini Vaishnaw.

“We are creating a top-notch Vande Metro, which will be a significant improvement. By May or June, the design should be available, Vaishnaw told reporters.

He emphasised that the trains from the 1950s and 1960s will all be replaced because these Vande Metro trains will be produced in such great quantities.

According to Vaishnaw, the middle class and the destitute will be served by these modern trains.

“Rich people never need anyone else to take care of them. Vaishnaw added that the central government, in particular Prime Minister Narendra Modi, focuses on middle-class and lower-class individuals who cannot afford it.

The Union Minister also mentioned that the design for Vande Bharat-3, which will also include sleeper class, is being developed by the Railways. The train is being designed to facilitate long-distance journeys.
