Bengaluru: ISRO on Wednesday said its latest earth observation satellite EOS-08 will be launched on Independence Day (Aug 15).
This satellite will be launched onboard the third and final developmental flight of its Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV)-D3. The primary objectives of the EOS-08 mission include designing and developing a microsatellite and incorporating new technologies.
The launch is scheduled for August 15 at 9:17 A.M. from Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. The micro-satellite EOS-08 weighs approximately 175.5 kg.
