Hyderabad: In a remarkable act of bravery, Haryana’s Subhan Khan has become a real-life hero after rescuing nine people stranded on the Prakash Nagar bridge over the Munneru river in Telangana’s Khammam district.
As floodwaters surged, the trapped individuals recorded a video pleading for help from the state government. Despite deploying a chopper, the rescue operation faced setbacks due to adverse weather conditions.

Amid the chaos, Subhan Khan took matters into his own hands, choosing to drive his bulldozer to the bridge despite warnings from others. “If I die, it is one life, but if I return, I will save nine,” he declared before embarking on the risky mission. Khan successfully brought all nine individuals back to safety, receiving cheers from the crowd upon his return.
Khan’s act of courage has earned him widespread admiration, with his phone inundated with calls of appreciation. Among those who reached out was top Opposition leader KT Rama Rao, who lauded Khan’s bravery on social media. Rao stated, “You, my brother Subhan Khan, have saved so many families from lifelong pain by helping these nine people.”
