While heading back to base, a mechanical issue arose with the aircraft.
The Indian Navy said that the plane’s pilot safely ejected and is in stable condition.
A MiG 29K on a routine sortie over sea off Goa developed a technical malfunction while returning to base. The pilot ejected safely & has been recovered in a swift SAR ops.
Pilot reported to be in stable condition.

Soon after getting tragedy, a prompt search and rescue mission was initiated.
A Board of Inquiry (BoI) has been appointed in the meantime to look into the incident’s details and origins.
