National Law University Student Dies after Hit by Falling Stone at Waterfall in Himachal Pradesh

Shimla: Akshat Dev, a 19-year-old student of National Law University in Delhi died of head injury when he was hit by a shooting stone at a waterfall in Himachal Pradesh’s Solan district.

The deceased hailed from Gandhinagar in Rajasthan’s Jaipur district.

The mishap took place on Friday evening. The deceased was part of a 13-students group from the National Law University, who had come to Ashwani Khad.

While they were enjoying at a waterfall, suddenly a stone fell from the cliff and hit Akshat on his head. Seriously injured Akshat was rushed to the Government Regional Hospital in Solan where he was declared brought dead by the doctors.
