Investigations Ongoing on Pakistani Woman’s Illegal Cross-Border Entry: MEA

New Delhi: Investigations are currently underway by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) regarding the case of Seema Haider, a Pakistani national who illegally crossed over to India with her four children via Nepal over two months ago.

The 30-year-old woman from Sindh province was granted bail and is now free. MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi confirmed that the matter is being looked into as it is a judicial issue.

Seema Haider came to India to live with her Indian lover, Sachin Meena, who resides in Rabupura, Greater Noida. However, both Seema and Sachin were arrested for the illegal entry of Seema and her children into India without a visa. They were later released on bail by a local court and are currently living together with her children in Rabupura.

The couple’s connection began in 2019 when they met while playing the online game PUBG. Further updates on the case will be provided as the investigations progress. The MEA spokesperson declined to comment further, stating that it is an ongoing legal matter.
