Petrol, and diesel price updates on September 15

Bhubaneswar: As per the official data provided by the Petroleum Ministry’s Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC), in 2021-22, excise duty on petrol rose 194 percent to Rs 27.90 per liter and on diesel, it rose 512 percent to stand at Rs 21.80 per liter.

Prices of petroleum products have been aligned to market rates, fuel prices will rise each time, global crude prices rise and the rupees fall against the dollar.

The petrol and diesel price across Odisha today are:

Petrol price in Angul on Thursday was Rs 104.90 while the same was sold at Rs 103.20 in Balasore. Petrol rate in Bhubaneswar- Rs 103.11, Cuttack Rs 103.71, Dhenkanal Rs 103.98, Jharsuguda Rs 103.31, Kendrapara Rs 103.11, Puri Rs 103.47, Sambalpur Rs 103.85 and Malkangiri Rs 108.92.

As far as the diesel is concerned, it was sold at Rs 96.40 in Angul, Rs 94.81 in Balasore, Rs 94.78 in Bhubaneswar, Rs 95.10 in Cuttack, Rs 95.52 in Dhenkanal, Rs 94.89 in Jharsuguda, Rs 94.62 in Kendrapara, Rs 95.41 in Sambalpur, Rs 95.02 in Puri and Rs 100.29 in Malkangiri.
