INDIA Bloc Leaders Praise Rahul Gandhi’s Commitment on His 54th Birthday

New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi, the former Congress president and MP-elect from Raebareli turned 54 on Wednesday. His birthday was marked by an outpouring of wishes from various political leaders across the country.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge praised Gandhi’s unwavering commitment to constitutional values and his empathy for the marginalized, highlighting these qualities as distinctive. Gandhi, the former Congress president and MP-elect from Raebareli requested that Congress workers mark the day with humanitarian efforts rather than grand celebrations.

Gandhi cut a cake at the AICC headquarters alongside Kharge and other senior Congress leaders, including KC Venugopal, Priyanka Gandhi, and Ajay Maken. Gandhi also engaged with party workers who extended their wishes.

Kharge lauded Gandhi in a post on X, emphasizing his dedication to unity, diversity, and compassion. Gandhi responded with gratitude, expressing appreciation for Kharge’s leadership.

Priyanka Gandhi shared a heartfelt social media message, calling her brother her “friend, argumentative guide, philosopher, and leader.” She wished him continued brilliance and expressed deep affection.

Other notable leaders who extended birthday greetings included Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, NCP (SCP) chief Sharad Pawar, his daughter Supriya Sule, and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray. They all wished Gandhi a healthy, prosperous year ahead, acknowledging his dedication to the people and his leadership qualities.
