New Delhi: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued a stern warning, stating that any individual found engaging in malpractice related to its recruitment exams will face disciplinary and legal consequences.
According to an official notice, the SSC reiterated that disclosing, sharing, reproducing, or transmitting exam content in any form, whether verbal, written, electronic, or mechanical, will be treated as serious misconduct. Those involved will be disqualified or debarred from future exams. Additionally, the removal of rough papers from exam centres or possession of test material without authorisation is also considered a grave offence, liable for stringent action.
The Commission highlighted that some individuals are using social media platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook to engage in such activities. The SSC clarified that it will take disciplinary action against these individuals and may involve the police if necessary.
The SSC, a key government recruitment agency, conducts examinations for non-gazetted posts across various central ministries and departments.
In a related development, the central government has recently permitted the SSC to use Aadhaar-based authentication for identity verification of candidates on a voluntary basis, both during registration and at different stages of the recruitment process.
