Twitter Likely To Shut Its Indian Offices In Delhi & Mumbai

New Delhi: Twitter is reportedly planning to close its co-working locations in Delhi and Mumbai after doing so in Bengaluru.

Reports citing sources state that the office closing procedure began in December of last year.

There are about 80 workers in The Executive Centre in Delhi’s Qutub area and about 150 at the WeWork site in Mumbai’s BKC.

Insiders claim that the company has abandoned co-working spaces in Bengaluru as well, indicating that this was the result of company-wide reforms.

Musk urged Twitter’s remaining Singaporean employees to cease coming to the office and work remotely earlier this week after the business apparently failed to make rent payments for the San Francisco headquarters.

Employees at Twitter reportedly received email instructions telling them to leave the CapitaGreen building and work from home.

Twitter has been sued in the US due to its failure to pay the $136,250 rent for its San Francisco office premises.
