Vyapam corruption case: 5 people sentenced to 7 years imprisonment

Bhopal: 5 people have been sentenced to 7 years of rigorous imprisonment in the Vyapam corruption case. In 2013, there were gross irregularities in the police recruitment examination conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Commercial Examination Board and Vyapam. In this case, special court judge Piteraj Singh Sisodia sentenced accused Kamal Kishore, Amar Singh, Nagendra Singh, Suresh Singh, and Ravi Kumar Rajput to 7 years in prison.

The court also imposed a fine of 10 thousand rupees on them. According to the trial, Kamal, Amar, Nagendra, and Suresh had brought some youths to appear for the Madhya Pradesh constable recruitment test instead of them. Ravi Rajput Nagendra has conducted the police recruitment test.
