2 Students Died After Bus Overturns Near Mumbai

Mumbai: At least two students died and several were injured as the bus carrying them overturned near Mumbai today morning. The accident happened when the students were returning from a picnic.

The bus was carrying 48 students of Class 10th and two teachers of the coaching institute in Mumbai’s Chembur. The students along with teachers were returning from Lonavala.  It overturned on the Old Mumbai-Pune highway around 4 am while coming down from the hills.

Two students died in the accident, while several sustained injuries. The injured students and teachers were rushed to different hospitals in Lonavala, Khopoli, and other nearby areas.
