22-Yr-Old Odia Migrant Worker Dies falling from Roof in Pune

Bhubaneswar: A 22-year-old Odia migrant labourer died when he fell from a roof while working at a construction site in Pune in Maharashtra.

The deceased identified as Buddhadev Mendeli hailed from the Subarnapur district. He was a migrant labourer in Pune for the last three years.

He was seriously injured after falling from the roof. He was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The deceased migrant worker’s father Hiramani Mendeli has urged the Labour Department of the Odisha government through a letter to facilitate transportation of Buddhadev’s body to his village in Odisha for funeral rites.
