3 Killed in Explosion of Army Mortar Shell Outside Firing Range in Bihar

Gaya: Three villagers died in Bihar’s Gaya district on Wednesday when an Army mortar shell fell and exploded outside the firing range.

This incident occurred in Gularved village under the Barachatti police station area. The blast of the mortal shell injured six persons. The injured were immediately rushed to the Anugraha Narayan Magadh Medical College and Hospital in Gaya, where three of the injured villagers, including a woman, succumbed to their injuries.

The remaining three, including two women, are in critical condition, police sources said. A police team has been sent to the site of the incident for investigations.
