Balasore: A 4-foot-long crocodile was caught in a trap set up Singhala area in Odisha’s Balasore district on Monday.
The crocodile was rescued from the trap set under the Mahapada culvert over the Dubudubi river in the Singhla police station area.
In recent past, some goats and cattle have been killed by crocodiles in the area. According to locals, two to three crocodiles are roaming in the waters of the region.
When one crocodile was caught in the net trap set under the culvert, the locals demanded other crocodiles in the area also be caught.
