New Delhi: Four Students from the national Capital Delhi were arrested for beating a pregnant dog to death.
Reportedly, the accused were identified to be students of Don Bosco Technical Institute.
The case came to the fore when a video of the students thrashing the dog and later dragging the carcass in the New Friends Colony area went viral.

“The accused said that they killed the dog because they were bothered by the dog barking at them,” informed police.
Esha Pandey, DCP (South East), said, “We received a complaint from a woman who leveled allegations against students (of a college)… for allegedly beating the dog. We also got the video footage of the incident. We are investigating the matter.”
On the basis of a complaint, FIR was registered earlier under sections 429 and 34 of IPC & 11(1) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 at New Friends Colony Police Station in Delhi.
