5G service to start today

New Delhi: 5G service will start in the country from today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will auspiciously inaugurate the India Mobile Congress to be held at the Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. When the 5G service is launched, the speed service will be 30 times faster than 3G and 10 times faster than 4G. It is said that this speed can go up to 100 times where necessary.

5G will increase download speed for users. It used to take 2 days and 8 hours to download a file on a 2G network, 2 hours on 3G service, and 40 minutes on 4G, now it will take only 35 seconds to download that file on 5G.

Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnab had earlier informed that 5G services will be available in the whole country within two years. Among the places where 5G services will be started in the country, the village of President Droupadi Murmu has the name Khalilpur in the Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. Mayurbhanj Pahadpur SLS Residential Memorial School, Delhi has been arranged for live streaming.

In India, 5G services will be rolled out in a handful of major cities in the initial phase. After this, the service will be rolled out across the country in a phased manner over the next two years. Although it is not clear which company’s 5G service will start today, it is assumed that Reliance Jio’s service will be available.
