Aftab Poonawalla’s Polygraph Test to Resume Today

New Delhi: The polygraph test of Aftab Ameen Poonawalla was stopped midway on Thursday after he complained of fever. The test will resume on Friday at the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in Rohini.

“The police will bring him again on Friday after which the test will resume,” FSL spokesperson Sanjeev Gupta said.

According to sources, Aftab was taken to the FSL for his polygraph or lie-detector test on Thursday. He was asked several questions to get some vital clues that will further help the police probe the murder of Shraddha.

Poonawalla had earlier given his consent for the narco test in court after which Metropolitan Magistrate Vijayshree Rathore allowed the cops to go ahead with the ‘truth serum’ test.

Although new revelations were being made in the case every day, the police felt that Aftab was trying to deviate them from important facts.

The 28-year-old Poonawala allegedly strangled his live-in partner Walkar and sawed her body into 35 pieces which he kept in a fridge for almost three weeks at his residence in South Delhi’s Mehrauli locality. He later disposed of the body parts across the city over several days.
