Aishwarya’s Domestic Help & Driver Held for Stealing Her Jewellery

Chennai: Police have arrested the domestic help and driver of Aishwarya Rajnikanth, daughter of superstar Rajinikanth, for stealing her jewellery.

The accused were identified as Eswari and  Venkatesan. Reportedly, they collided and stole the jewellery kept in a locker at the director’s residence.

Aishwarya lodged a complaint with the police alleging that her gold jewellery and ornaments were missing from the locker in her home.

According to her, the stolen ornaments were worth Rs 3.6 lakh, but the value of the jewellery could be much more.

In her FIR she has named three of her servants as suspects in the theft of valuable ornaments from her residence. Aishwarya lives in this house along with her two sons. Her stolen jewellery was kept in a locker in the house.

Aishwarya lodged the complaint of theft with the Teynampet police station in Chennai. According to her, she was absent from her home for some time when the house servants frequenting the place committed the theft.

Aishwarya is a film director and producer. She is currently directing ‘Lal Salam’ with Vishnu Vishal and Vikrant in the lead roles. Her father Rajinikanth plays a cameo role in the movie.
