At Least 15 Killed, 20 Injured as Bus Falls Off Bridge in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal: At least 15 persons died and nearly 20 others were injured when a passenger bus fell off a bridge in Madhya Pradesh’s Khargone area on Tuesday.

According to reports, this bus was carrying over 50 passengers at the time of the accident. The ill-fated bus was on its way to Indore when it skidded off the bridge and fell to the dry river bed beneath.

Locals in the area began a rescue operation and those injured in the accident were taken to a nearby hospital. Meanwhile, local Collector Shivraj Singh Verma and other officials along with fire brigade and police personnel reached the accident spot.
