At least three persons died and 32 others were seriously injured in a Russian missile attack on the central Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih on Tuesday morning.
Air strikes were also reported from other cities in Ukraine including Kyiv.
A five-storey building Kryvyi Rih got destroyed by Russian missiles, informed the governor of Dnipropetrovsk region, Serhiy Lysak. According to initial reports, three residents of this building died and 25 others were injured. The death toll is expected to increase as there were people stranded under the rubble.
Seven other people were injured in missile strikes on two other locations of Kryvyi Rih.
Ukraine claimed that three Russian cruise missiles were shot down but others hit the civilian areas. The Ukrainian capital and the northeast city of Kharkiv were also attacked by Russian missiles and drones.
Russia renewed its air attack on Ukraine after Ukraine claimed to have retaken several villages and made advances in its counter-offensive against Russian forces.
