At Least 300 Died in Anti-Hijab Protests in Iran

At last, the Iran government has accepted that more than 300 people have been killed in the country during ant-hijab protests continuing since September. These protests erupted in this Islamic nation after death of Mahsa Amini in morality police custody. Even children were killed during the violent suppression of anti-hijab movement by the Iranian government.

In a video published by the Mehr news agency, Brigadier General Amirali Hajizadeh, head of the Guards’ aerospace division of Iran has said, “Everyone in the country has been affected by the death of this lady. I don’t have the latest figures, but I think we have had perhaps more than 300 martyrs and people killed in this country, including children, since this incident.”

But as per an Oslo based Iran Human Rights group, the total death toll during ant-hijab protests in the country is more than 416.
