Bharatpur Custodial Assault: IIC & 4 Cops To be Taken to Gujarat For Polygraph Test Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: An Odisha Crime Branch team will take former Inspector-In-Charge (IIC) of Bharatpur police station, Dinakrushna Mishra and four other cops earlier posted at the police station to Gujarat for their polygraph test in connection with the alleged torture of an Indian Army officer and his fiancée at the police station.

These suspended police personnel will undergo polygraph tests, brain mapping, and narco-analysis in Gujarat.

The four other suspended officers are Sub-Inspector Baisalini Panda, Assistant Sub-Inspectors Salilamayee Sahoo and Sagarika Rath, and Constable Balaram Handa.

The Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) court in Bhubaneswar allowed to conduct of these tests of the suspended police officials following a plea by the Crime Branch.
