BJD To Take Up Jana Samparka Padayatra, Membership Drive Across Odisha In October

Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) will launch Jana Samparka Padayatra and membership drive across Odisha in October, announced the party.

The padayatra will be held in two phases. The first phase of the padayatra will start on Gandhi Jayanti (October 2) and will end on October 6. It will resume after Durga Puja to continue from October 21-30.

The BJD will also take up its membership drive in October. This process will begin on October 9, the birth anniversary of Utkalmani Gopabandhu Das and will continue for two months to conclude on December 9.

The details of these programs of the party were taken at a meeting chaired by BJD president Naveen Patnaik at Sankha Bhawan in Bhubaneswar.
